2019 VMA’S CREATIVE JENIUS REPORT

The 2019 MTV Video Music Awards is going down August 26, 2019, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. It is the first VMA ceremony held in New Jersey; Sebastian Maniscalco will host this year 36th annual VMA ceremony.
The pre-show will be hosted Terrence J, Nessa with co-host Zara Larsson and Hayley Kiyoko presenting “Push Artist of the Year”; with live pre-show performances by Ava Max, CNCO and Megan Thee Stallion.
The VMA’s will be honoring Marc Jacobs with the “MTV Fashion Trailblazer Award” and Missy Elliott is the 2019 recipient of “Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award“; who will Crush the stage with a one in a lifetime performance.
This year Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift have the most nominations with twelve, Billie Eilish with ten & Lil Nas X received nine. With new categories like Best K-Pop and Video for Good (Previously Video with a Message), Best Group, Best Power Anthem, and Best Song of Summer, which will be voted on by fans.
